Funeral Director, Cemetery Counselor
and Pre-Need Salesperson – Denver, CO

Fairmount Funeral Home and Cemetery is hiring. The 280-acre Cemetery is a nonprofit 501(c)13 organization that is the sole shareholder of the Funeral Home.  Fairmount is a unique combo, in that one person assists a family through both funeral and cemetery needs. This position is more than a Funeral Director, which is why we refer to them as Family Care Providers (FCP’s). We are currently seeking individuals who can take on the tasks of three roles: Funeral Director, Cemetery Counselor, and Pre-Need Salesperson. This is a 40-hour-a-week-base-salary-plus-commission position and includes excellent benefits.

Although licensing is not required in Colorado, knowledge of mortuary science is preferred.  The most successful FCP’s we found were straight out of Mortuary Science School with no experience and an Office Manager that came from a combo funeral home and cemetery. Seasoned Funeral Directors take note, this is a position unlike any funeral home at which you have worked. You will walk the family through every step, from the funeral arrangement, service, cemetery arrangement, marker selection, and design, then aftercare and preneed arrangements. One staff helping a family through mortuary and cemetery needs creates trust and improves business relationships with our families. If you would like more information about joining the Fairmount Family, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Funeral Home Manager, Crystal Langton, at clangton@fairmountcemetery.net.
