Join the Pyramid Builders Society

In 1917, a group of forward-thinking funeral professionals met to discuss a shared vision of mutual cooperation and the future of funeral service. That group would come to be known as the trade association, National Selected Morticians (NSM), now known as Selected Independent Funeral Homes.

Taking its name from The Pyramid Builders, a history of the association published in 1967, the Pyramid Builders Society was established to help provide a giving opportunity for our donors who, like those first ten visionaries, want to make a significant impact on the future of the independent funeral service profession.

This unique giving society forms the foundation of the Trust’s core programs: scholarship, research, education, workforce development, and community involvement. Membership in this exclusive group will identify those individuals and firms firmly committed to the future of the death-care profession.

It’s about legacy. You care about the future of the profession, and you want to cement your own personal legacy and the legacy of your firm. You have the opportunity to intertwine your own personal legacy with that of the Trust and Selected by making a gift or pledge of $15,000 or more.
